The 2021 outing of the popular London to Brighton Classic Car Run and Kit & Sports Car Run is scheduled to take place on Sunday 6th June, alongside the inaugural Modern Classics Run.

Stephen Smith from GE Classic Motor Events said: “We were so disappointed that Covid stopped us going ahead with our plans last year. It has made us even more determined to get back on the road in 2021!

“We’ve had so much support from our entrants and we know they’re as desperate for the event to go ahead as we are. We also had tremendous support last year from Brooklands Motor Museum when we had to change our starting location. So, to support them in return, the 2021 Runs will start from there instead of heading back to Greenwich Park.”

Whilst 2021 sees the inaugural Modern Classics Run, open to all vehicles manufactured between February 1979 and 31st December 1999, the Classic Car Run celebrates its 32nd year. Open to all cars pre-1979, the Run hosts a fabulous mix of classic and vintage cars. The Kit & Sports Cars Run celebrates its 20th year and, with no age limits on entries, replica cars are also welcome to join the fun.

Whilst the stopping points along the route are still to be determined, the final destination has been confirmed as Brighton’s Madeira Drive, the finish point for the famous Veteran Car Run.

As well as celebrating the various Run winners, there will also be prizes for the best period dressed participants, longest distance travelled and a few other special awards on the day.

The entry fee in all classes of entry is £115.00 per crew of driver and navigator, with all run participants receiving a commemorative numbered rally board and sold brass rally plaque, a Tulip style route book, and a personalised certificate of entry.

Entries, offered on a first come/first served basis, close date of 30th April 2021.
